Patient Flow Program

The RVH-IOOF is a 27-bed satellite unit located at 10 Brooks Street. This unit cares for patients designated as Alternate Level of Care (ALC). This means the patient does not require acute care but requires some type of support that is preventing them from being discharged home. They may be waiting for PSW services at home, require strengthening  to return home, waiting for long-term care, or waiting for a retirement home. Our aim is to enhance or maintain the health status and quality of life of our patients until they reach their discharge destination.

IOOF Team

Our healthcare team consists of a physician, nurse practitioner, registered nurses, registered practical nurses, patient care assistants, physiotherapists, recreation therapist, unit clerks, and screeners. Each member has a specific role to play to ensure seamless integration of care and together, we strive to provide exceptional care to each patient and family.
