Meet Jodie, a dedicated Metis woman who brings a wealth of experience from the fields of education and child welfare to her role as the Indigenous Project Coordinator. Since stepping into the manager position in 2023, Jodie has shown unwavering commitment to promoting health equity and improving care for Indigenous communities in our area.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Jodie is a loving wife and mother of three, balancing her role at RVH with her family responsibilities. Her passion for her work is deeply rooted in her personal values.
Cassandra Crowe

Meet Cassandra, a proud Indigenous woman with a deep commitment to honouring her cultural roots and nurturing community connections. Known for her keen eye for detail and natural knack for finding creative solutions, Cassandra brings a warm and welcoming energy to everything she does.
Driven by a passion for creating spaces of cultural safety and belonging, Cassandra’s heart is set on crafting initiatives that celebrate diversity and uphold Indigenous traditions.
With her unique blend of personal insight and administrative skill, she’s a driving force behind our journey towards a more inclusive and culturally rich environment.
Calley Monague
Indigenous Coordinator
Calley is a proud Métis woman residing in the Georgian Bay region with her husband and two sons. As a life spectrum doula, she assists her community through various pivotal moments in their lives. Calley is dedicated to holistic care, employing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation strategies that prioritize the needs of Indigenous peoples. Her extensive background in program planning and delivery enables her to offer numerous health and wellness programs through a cultural lens. In recent years, she has focused on fostering change in the health sector by integrating both clinical and traditional approaches to care for Indigenous peoples and their families. Community is at the heart of Calley’s professional practice.
Outside of work, Calley enjoys gardening, foraging in the forest, and rock hunting on the beach with her family. She has a passion for embracing nature’s beauty and incorporating these gifts into her work.
