The Volunteer Resources Department in an integral partner in RVH’s patient-centred MY CARE philosophy. Over 500 volunteers provide over 85,500 hours in dedicated time in various capacities in our health centre. Our focus is to ensure our volunteers positively affect the patient experience, that they have purposeful work and feel like they make a difference in our health centre and in our community. Results from the recent Volunteer Opinion Survey conducted by the Professional Administrators of Volunteer Resources of Ontario show that 98% of volunteers would recommend RVH as a great place to volunteer.
