A specialist or family physician refers new patients to the RVH Nephrology Program for consultation.

Once the referral is sent to the Nephrologist office, the Nephrologist will review the chart for urgency.
Referrals are to be submitted by fax.

A copy of all pertinent lab and diagnostic results should accompany every new patient referral. Once the chart is reviewed, an appointment will be completed by contacting the patient.

Street: 201 Georgian Drive

Travelling on Georgian Drive you will pass Georgian College and enter RVH through the FIRST ENTRANCE.

• You will see an electronic sign and helipad.

Parking: Volunteer and Patient parking

Continue down the road and CONTINUE STRAIGHT after stopping at the stop sign. Parking is located directly ON YOUR RIGHT.

Entrance: Level 1 (Simcoe)

After parking enter RVH’s Simcoe entrance (Level 1).

Step-by-step Directions: Peritoneal Dialysis/Multi Care Kidney Clinic

Starting February 28, 2022, the Multi-Care Kidney and Peritoneal Dialysis Clinic (MCKC/PD) at 66 Wellington Street West will be relocated to room 3118 on Level 3 in Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre’s main campus (201 Georgian Drive, Barrie).  Patients can access the new location by entering through the Simcoe entrance (Level 1).

• Park at the ‘Volunteer and Patient’ lot outside of the Simcoe Entrance (Parking is $6.50 for an hour. Daily rates can be found at https://www.rvh.on.ca/patients-visitors/parking-and-transportation/
• Enter the health centre through the Simcoe Entrance (Level 1) and complete the screening process
• You will register at the self-registration kiosk and follow the printed instructions
• Proceed to room 3118 on Level 3

Exit Hwy 400 at Bayfield Street. Turn right onto Bayfield Street. At the second set of lights, turn right onto Wellington Street West. The clinic is located on the right-hand side past Toronto Street.
