Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH), in collaboration with the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, has declared the COVID-19 outbreak on the health centre’s Specialized Seniors Care Unit over.
During the outbreak 23 patients tested positive for COVID-19. All have resolved symptoms at this time. No staff tested positive, nor were there any deaths.
The unit has returned to open status for visitors.
