Health Library

Since 1997, the RVH Health Library has been an integral part of RVH's commitment to providing contemporary, evidence-based health information to staff, physicians, patients and visitors across Simcoe County.

Located on the second floor, next to Victoria's Gift Shop near the Atrium Entrance, the library offers a large collection of academic textbooks, medical books, patient-education pamphlets, e-resources, computers and other electronic services, and exam invigilation*.

Library professionals are available to help you conduct literature searches, provide assistance with full-text article retrieval, and locate information on a wide variety of healthcare topics. If you are unable to visit the library, information can be sent electronically.

Please feel free to contact the RVH Health Library for all your health information needs at or call, 705-728-9090 Ext. 42631, or stop by in person for drop-in services. The library is open to all visitors Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:30am to 4:00pm.

*Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, some of our normal services may not be available at this time, including seating, public book loans, and computer access. Medical/academic textbook loans remain available to staff and physicians. Despite these temporary changes, we are committed to your health information needs and hope to see or hear from you.
