At RVH, our goal is to provide comprehensive services that help seniors in our community and beyond to have their best possible quality of life and health.

Our Seniors Care Program includes a variety of hospital and community-based services that specializes in the care of older adults with complex health care needs. Our team includes geriatricians (physicians who specialize in caring for seniors), nurses and advanced practice nurses (nurses with specialized education), occupational therapists, physiotherapists (rehabilitation professionals), social workers, pharmacists, therapeutic recreationists, and speech language pathologists.

Our healthcare team works together to promote independence and vitality for seniors through assessment, consultation, collaboration and support. As well, the team will make recommendations for treatment and education while connecting you to community resources that can help you.
